HUYS is a Belgian company active in the front-end of the weaving industry for more than two decades. The company has a long record in warping equipment manufacture and acquired extensive technical know-how and expertise in this field.

Our activities

• We manufacture the MIwarp sectional warper, a small warping machine that has been designed for narrow fabrics and samples. This sectional warper is used in the weaving and knitting industry, especially when expensive yarns or small batches of dyed yarn bobbins are used. This very precise warper is a major breakthrough; with only a handful of bobbins it is now possible to make a narrow width weaver’s beam.
• The manufacture of high-end warping creels, mostly for technical applications and the supply of yarn brakes, stop-motion units and other creel accessories.
• Customer consultation on the procurement, exact configuration & setup of warping plants. We are the exclusive distributor in Europe and the USA for the warping equipment of the Prashant Group, India. This company is currently the largest producer worlwide of weaving preparatory equipment.
• HUYS is also an excellent source for carefully selected refurbished and pre-owned textile machinery.
